The "Association Biostimulants in Agriculture" (ABISTA) is an association of firms and individuals concerned with the distribution and use of Bio-Stimulants and their application in agriculture. ABISTA aspires to collect the available knowledge on the subject of plant nutrition and the related use of Bio-Stimulants and to make it available to the relevant authorities and in political circles with the aim of harmonising the usage regulations within Europe.
Der Arbeitskreis Biostimulanzien in der Agrikultur (ABISTA) ist der Zusammenschluss von Fachleuten der Pflanzenernährung und Bodenforschung mit dem Ziel das aktuelle Wissen zu Biostimulanzien bzw. Pflanzenstärkungsmitteln zu erfassen. ABISTA stellt das erfasste Wissen Mitgliedern, Anwendern sowie Behörden und Politikern zur Verfügung. Ein besonderes Ziel ist es einen fachlichen Beitrag zur Harmonisierung der Europäischen Zulassungsharmonisierung zu leisten.
Biostimulantien für Pflanzen sind natürliche Substanzen und/oder Mikroorganismen die mit dem Ziel der allgemeinen Pflanzenvitalisierung auf Pflanzen, bewachsenen Boden oder Saatgut appliziert werden. Die Verwendung von Biostimulantien soll das Pflanzenwachstum, die bessere Nährstoffausnutzung, die Widerstandskraft der Pflanzen gegen Stressoren fördern und im Boden festgelegte Nährstoffe verfügbar machen.
